National Academy of Education Elects Eleven New Members

Eleven leaders in education were elected to  membership in the National Academy of Education "for their pioneering efforts in educational research and policy development." The NAEd consists of U.S. members and foreign associates who are elected on the basis of outstanding scholarship related to education.

FABBS President-Elect Robert Sternberg, Provost and Senior Vice President at Oklahoma State University, was among those elected. Other newly-elected members are: Jeanne Brooks-Gunn; Herbert P. Ginsburg; Susan R. Goldman; Thomas L. Good; John T. Guthrie; Jack Jennings; Helen F. Ladd; Penelope L. Peterson; Bernard Weiner; and Mark R. Wilson.
